A great loop which uses the tarmac track from the top of Musdale to reach an old aqueduct, which takes you above Loch awe to the forest above Loch Avich. After descending to and follwing the shore of the loch, rough tracks are taken over to Scammadale, followed by smoother and newer tracks back over the hill to Kilmore.
The lack of pictures included for this ride does a disservice to its quality. Weather was pretty appalling for a large chunk of our ride!

How rough? The track from Avich to Scammadale is quite rough and warrants a MTB, in addition to a short section near Loch Nant.
